Maps of Mars are all the same. I went pseudo-science. All current missions are represented by ships and former missions are shipwrecks. I traced shorelines from a real topographical map made by the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter. This project spanned for several months and gained recognition from real cartographers and then was published in North American Cartographic Information Society’s third volume of Atlas of Design.

Labelling everything from actual NASA/ESA topography maps.

Tracing/illustrating over the actual map.
